As of June 1, 2022, the amendments on regulation E-1 of Ballast Water Management Convention adopted by MEPC 75 have entered into force and a Commissioning Analysis Test validating the proper operation of the Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) is a requisite for acquiring the International Ballast Water Management Certificate (IBWMC).
